Simon And Trains

A Dad and His Boy

There are two of us that are into trains in this house. Neither of them is my wife, nor my son's mother.

There's Simon. He's my son. He's a fountain of knowledge for all things mechanical, from planes to trains to automobiles. And then, there's me. I don't seem to have any photos of me. Seems that I take thousands of them but nobody takes them of me.

Anyway, this was me entering the top of "Old Baldy", a lighthouse on Bald Head Island, NC. Old Baldy, Bald Head Island, NC

We've ridden trains together in Scranton and in Michigan; in Wales and England; France and Florida; Georgia and Illinois; Indiana and D.C. We've ridden monorails, coal mine and slate trains; subway trains and The Tube; steam, diesel and electric trains, and the El-train; narrow gauge and cog;
